August Meeting

Post date: Aug 07, 2019 4:14:48 PM

The August Meeting of the Hannibal Writers Guild will take place August 10th, 2019 at 5:30 PM at the Mark Twain Brewing Company in Downtown Hannibal, MO.

Stuck on your book? Can't seem to get any words down? Caught in an endless loop of Netflix and procrastination?

What if I told you you could write yourself out of a writers block? Or, what if I said you could still work on your story without writing a single word?

Come to the August meeting of the Hannibal Writers Guild and hear from acting-president Dana Lockhart as she discusses the ways to get you back to work on your work-in-progress and make it a work-is-finished.

During this meeting we will also be seeking volunteers for the Hannibal Writers Guild booth at the Steampunk festival (labor day weekend). Without you, it won't happen! We need two people manning the booth for every day of the festival. If you are a published author, we will sell books for you on your behalf at the booth if you help out with the booth in some way during the weekend. We will sell water for donations to the guild and raise awareness for the power of writing!

Dana Lockhart will be available for "office hours" from 3 PM - 5:30 PM before the meeting to help guild members with any writing problems or questions they might need addressed.
